Lucy the Elephant is a real building shaped like a giant elephant! She resides in the lovely beach town of Margate City, NJ. After standing still for well over 100 years, the young author Steven Paul Winkelstein, also known as 'The Winkle' brought her to life with the help of illustrator Christie Mealo. Come along and explore their brilliant, lovable Elephant Alive! series, as Lucy travels to all sorts of historical landmarks and meets all kinds of new friends.
